Materials

Use any colour of your choice for embroidery.

To make large

• 7g Sock yarn (Opal, Sweet & Spicy, orange), 4g Cream DK

• Small amounts of 4-ply (fingering) orange, green, soft yellow, dark brown, orange-brown

• Toy stuffing

To make small

• 5g Sock yarn (Opal, green mix, brown mix), 3g Cream DK

• Small amounts of 4-ply brown, dark brown, red-brown, yellow, soft yellow, green, yellow-green, pink

• Toy stuffing

Decorations require small amounts of 4-ply yarn. Feel free to use any colour in your stash.

4-ply, 100g per 425m, 25% Polyamide, 75% Wool

• 2.5-3mm knitting needles

• Chenille needle

• 3mm crochet hook (to make chains)

• Scissors

Tension

24 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10cm using St st (not essential)

Practical tips

• Leave long ends for the parts that require assembly.

• Your sock yarn’s colours may be a little too far apart. Control the colour pattern by cutting and re-joining yarn.

• Sew the seam with RS facing, using mattress stitch.
