About the project
Would you like to design a delightful mini Nativity theatre? You can make small dolls with simple sewing techniques. The heads can be crafted from cotton jersey, while the bodies are created with felt fabric. Use uncarded wool for the beards and wrap the shepherds' figures with carded wool roving. The baby Jesus can comfortably rest in a walnut shell. Don’t hesitate to embrace your creativity and experiment with materials you have available!

Felt Sheets 4 x 9.5cm in purple, brown, yellow green, 3 x 8.5cm in pink, 6 x 9cm dark brown, 5 x 9cm sky blue, 5 x 4cm white, 5 x 5cm yellow and orange
Lightweight stretchy cotton jersey in desired skin colour, 4 pieces of 6 x 6cm, 1 piece of 4 x 4cm
Stuffing wool, cotton or synthetic toy stuffing
Wool fleece, uncarded wool or textured yarn such as bouclé
