This is the knitting instructions to make an elephant mobile.
The elephants can be enjoyed as small toys. The pattern includes step-by-step photos and instructions.
The elephant is 8cm.
Materials
• 10g pale pink, cream, grey DK (8-ply)
• Small amount of felted tweed 4-ply
• Small amounts of dark brown DK
• Oddments of DK yarn for star, heart, and ball
• Toy stuffing
• 110cm Garden wire
Tools
• A pair of 2.75mm (US 2) DPN knitting needles (DPNs are to make i-cord. The pattern is knitted flat and sewn up at the end.)
• A chenille needle
• Scissors
Knitting skill is basic knit, purl, k2tog, kfb (knit into the front and back loop to increase one stitch).
The tail is made in i-cord. The method is explained in the pattern.
