Cupcake Bear
Finished Size: Bear 11cm, Cupcake 7cm tall, 8cm in diameter
The cupcake's cup is knitted in circles using double-pointed needles (DPNs) for the second half. Alternatively, you can choose to knit it flat and sew the edges together at the end. All other components, including the cupcake body and bear body parts, are knitted flat and assembled later.
The required knitting skills are basic knit and purl techniques; however, be mindful during the assembly of the parts.
This project requires small amounts of DK (8-ply) yarn and 4-ply (fingering) yarn. The cupcake is created with DK and bouclé yarn, while the bear is made with 4-ply. Feel free to utilise your yarn stash, keeping in mind the provided yarn information.
The strawberry pattern comes as a bonus project.
