The project is knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No need for circular knitting.

The knitting skill required is basic knit and purl but needs care for assembly.

The flowers contain wire and are not suitable for young children as a toy.

• [A] 7g Oatmeal DK (8-ply)

• [B] A small amount of felted tweed yellow-green DK

For bluebell

• [C] 5g lilac 4-ply (fingering)

• [D] A small amount of green 4-ply

• [E] 7g white DK

About the yarn

• DK: 50g per 125m, 100% wool

• Felted Tweed DK: 50g per 175m, Merino Wool 50%, Alpaca 25%, Viscose 25%

Needles

2.75mm straight

Tension

28 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm square measured over St st (not essential)

Other supplies

• A chenille needle

• Plyers

• A Small amount of 4-ply dark brown

• Toy stuffing

• Lightweight garden wire

• Liquid glue

• Toy stuffing

Practical tips

• Leave long ends at the beginning and end for sewing.

• Sew the seam with RS facing, using mattress stitch.
